Job Title: Senior Frontend Designer / JavaScript Engineer

Overview
We’re looking for a highly creative and technically elite Designer–Engineer to own the look, feel, and frontend architecture of modern web products. This role blends world-class UI/UX design taste with deep JavaScript engineering, building fast, beautiful, production-grade interfaces.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and build pixel-perfect user interfaces using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and shadcn/ui

• Translate product vision and Figma designs into high-performance React components

• Own frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization

• Collaborate with product, backend, and leadership on end-to-end user experience

• Implement design systems, component libraries, and responsive layouts

• Integrate with Node.js APIs and real-time services

• Iterate rapidly, shipping polished features weekly

Required Skills

• Expert in JavaScript / TypeScript

• Deep experience with Next.js (App Router), React, Node.js

• Advanced proficiency in Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui

• Strong UI/UX instincts: spacing, typography, motion, hierarchy, interaction design

• Experience building design systems and component libraries

• Familiarity with modern tooling: Vercel, Git, CI/CD, PostHog/analytics, etc.

Nice to Have

• Framer Motion / animation experience

• Figma power user

• Mobile-first and accessibility best practices

• Startup / zero-to-one product experience
